Mr. Albertson is the band teacher at Logan-Magnolia Community Schools. His curricular responsibilities include teaching the 5th, 6th, Junior High, and High School concert bands, as well as daily lessons on an individual basis. He also directs the Panther Marching Band and the Pep Band.

Mr. Albertson earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Western Illinois University. Prior to teaching in Logan-Magnolia, he worked as a percussion instructor in the Chicagoland area at Lincoln-Way East High School and Pioneer Indoor Percussion. He has also completed his third season as the Front Ensemble Coordinator for the Colt Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from Dubuque, IA and will be returning with the ensemble for the 2015 competitive season.

During his time at Western Illinois University, Mr. Albertson was named a winner of the School of Music 2013 Concerto/Composition Competition, where he performed with the university's orchestra. He is also proud to be an alumnus of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps and Rhythm X Indoor Percussion.

Mrs. Schmitz has been with the Logan-Magnolia School District for 11 years. She has 27 years of teaching experience in both Nebraska and Iowa. Mrs. Schmitz teaches Vocal Music for grades 7-12. The high school music department consists of Men's Choir, Women's Choir, Mixed Choir, and Show Choir. The Junior High department consists of Mixed Choir and Show Choir. Mrs. Schmitz graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Music Education degree.
